The Fine as Wine album was a promotional piece for It Gets Better. For many young members of the LGBT community and youth in general, they feel doubts about their future improving. It Gets Better has an archive of videos to remind them that despite the hardships, it does get better. The main theme of the album is that we all age like fine wine the more we experience life. The distressed and natural textures show the journey that people have gone through. The bright colors are for both the flag and to be a sign of positivity where people might not always have it. The vinyl features a collection of songs that start somber but gradually grow into a joyous celebration.
